In My View 5/16/2018: Former Lions GM talks lousy draft picks

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Former Detroit Lions General Manager, Matt Millen, is ailing and needs a heart transplant at age 60.

He recently gave an interview to Sports Illustrated and discussed his 2001-08 run with the Lions.

He discussed his lousy draft choices, something current Lions GM Bob Quinn should heed.

"The Lions were 31-81 under Millen, because he didn't listen to others in the know," says News 10's Tim Staudt. "Quinn needs all the consultation he can find like any NFL GM."
