In Mid-Michigan, that includes the city of Lansing as well as Eaton and Ingham counties.

The disaster declaration means the city and counties can be reimbursed for response costs, up to $100,000.

The flooding left parts of Lansing, East Lansing and Okemos under several feet of water. Dozens of homes and businesses were destroyed.
