LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Weather Authority Meteorologist Jim Holton gave us the breakdown Friday morning of what makes snow types different.
The snow falling Friday morning is not the powder we've seen during the last few snow showers.
Looking at this season's snowfall and the liquid water we have seen so far this year.
Mid-Michigan is above average for snowfall but below average for liquid precipitation.
We are expecting between 3-9 inches of snow on Friday but, it is a heavier wetter snow and some spots could see as much as an inch of liquid water.
