Former chief justice running for senate

A former state supreme court chief justice is running for one of Michigan's US senate seats.
Robert young announced he's entering the republican primary for the seat held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow.
He stepped down from the court in April after 18 years on the bench.
Young will be facing businesswoman Lena Epstein in the primary next August.
Stabenow is running for her fourth term in the senate.
