Former MSU and Lions coach Darryl Rogers dies at age 83

Former MSU and Lions coach Darryl Rogers has died at the age of 83.

Rogers came to Michigan State in 1976 after coaching at San Jose State. He served MSU for four seasons before taking over at Arizona State.

He was brought on to coach the Lions in 1985, and was fired late in the 1988 season.
