Charlotte Students Show School Pride for Homecoming

CHARLOTTE, Mich. (WILX)-- Homecoming season is a busy time of year for Mid-Michigan high schools. News 10's morning anchor Lora Painter talks with students at Charlotte High School to find out the impacts of school spirit and school pride, and how students learn life skills through planning school event .

The list of the events for Charlotte HS's Homecoming Week:

Monday was class color day, tug of war at lunch, and capture the flag after school.
Tuesday was tie die day, ultimate Frisbee at lunch, and girls golf highlight game after school.
Wednesday was Disney day, home volleyball at 5:00, and the sidewalk chalk competition downtown at 6:30.
Thursday is decade day, ultimate Frisbee championship at lunch, and girls swimming highlight game after school.
Friday is orange and black day, spirit stick competition, pep assembly, parade at 5:00 downtown, Ed Foundation tailgate at the pavilion following the parade, the homecoming football game at 7:00, the homecoming court presentation at halftime, and the homecoming dance following the game.
