Cedar Street closed for sewer repairs over the weekend

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The City of Lansing has announced that Cedar Street business route 96 between Mount Hope Avenue and Lincoln Avenue will be closed Friday for sewer repairs.
That will start at 10 p.m. and is supposed to reopen by the morning of Monday, September 18.
During the closure - northbound Cedar Street will be down to one lane between Greenlawn Avenue and Tisdale Avenue.
There is a posted detour. This will take you west on Mount Hope Avenue to Washington Avenue, south on Washington Avenue along the detour route to gain access to southbound Cedar.
Local businesses will be open.
Drivers should expect delays during this work and should seek alternate routes.
