A 3 month-old child is recovering with serious injuries after a crash on eastbound I-94 Friday.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office the crash took place around 4:20p.m when Deputies responded.
A 30 year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Tahoe was passing a semi when she traveled into the lane and hit the tractor part of the semi.
The SUV then overturned several times after the impact.
A 3 month-old child was ejected from the SUV while in her car seat.
The child was then taken to the University of Michigan hospital with serious injures.
The woman driving the SUV suffered minor injuries.
The 41 year-old male driver of the semi was not injured.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Grass Lake Fire Department, Jackson Coummunity Ambulance, and Michigan State Police.
The crash is still under investigation.
