"Hi. My name's Scott Wriggelsworth and I'm running for the office of Ingham County Sheriff. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 1988 graduate of Holt High School, 1992 graduate of the Michigan State University with a degree in marketing and a 2006 graduate of the FBI national academy in Quantico, Virginia. My campaign is all about safety, service, solutions. I've got almost 23 years experience at the East Lansing Police Department. Included in that experience in 5 years in the detective bureau, over 10 years in patrol, 2 years in undercover narcotics and I also have experience both with records bureau and parking at the city of East Lansing. Service: I spent 6 years on the Holt school board as an elected member. I've also been a member of the 100 club of greater Lansing which raises money for the families of fallen police and fire in the tri-county area, those that were killed in the line of duty. I've also been a mentor-coach both in Delhi Township and in the Holt Junior Rams football and baseball program. And solutions: I pride myself on not only identifying problems that are in the community today but anticipating problems that are gonna happen in the future, coming up with solutions to battle those problems and encouraging those that work with me to think outside the box, try different things. In this day of policing the community expects us to be ahead of the curve be forward thinking. I've always prided myself on being that and I will continue to be that as the next Ingham County Sheriff."
