Behavioral Health Case Manager

TURNING LEAF RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION SERVICES

Salary: $31,200.00 to $46,000.00 /year

Description:

Turning Leaf Residential Rehabilitation is a CARF accredited behavioral health treatment provider supporting adults with a primary diagnosis of mental illness as well as co-occurring diagnoses including: personality disorders, developmental disabilities and/or substance use. Turning Leaf also serves individuals who present complex physical health issues resulting from Alzheimer's or an acquired brain injury.

Overview: As a Turning Leaf Case Manager, you will be expected to function as an active Team Member to provide case management services and treatment based services to consumers with mental illness, developmental disability and/or traumatic brain injury. Duties include one on one interaction with consumers and related activities including coordinating relevant consumer specific supports, services, housing, social networks, appointments, PCP planning, utilizing natural/community supports, maximizing income/benefits and plans of service.

Requirements:

Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, etc.) with either QMHP or QMRP designation. LBSW Preferred. Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification Highly Preferred.

Must have valid Michigan driver’s license and ability to pass background check and health screening prior to hire.

Job Summary and Description

The Lead Support for Continuing and Community Education is responsible for the direction and oversight of day-to-day operations related to course delivery and faculty support functions for Lifelong Learning & Centralized Support Services. Assist the Director of Lifelong Learning and Centralized Support with the development, implementation and evaluation of course delivery processes. Use systems thinking approach to develop processes and procedures for Community and Continuing Education and monitor the workflow to ensure a high level of instructional support. Serve as a community liaison to facilitate access to LCC services, instruction and activities by providing information to prospective and current students, faculty, staff and the general public with high-level customer service attention. Assist Director, Program Coordinators and Project Management Instructional Design Consultant - LLL with conducting market research related to new course development. Assist with compiling program data for reports and presentations. Enters and tracks requisitions and inventories, orders instructional as well as office materials, and equipment; fulfills and tracks travel expense and reimbursement requests. Researches and solves problems related to requisition, travel and pays for Community Education to ensure timeliness, completion and resolution of Community Education’s pay process. Assist with the Marketing Department to support the promotion of department courses and activities. Work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-centered environment, performing a variety of duties and balancing multiple priorities on a continuing basis. Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays on occasion in order to coordinate instructional activities and direct the work of support staff. Requirements:

Minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of work and educational experience required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative support and supervision required

Minimum of 3 years of relevant, increasing responsibility in customer service required

Extensive experience with all Microsoft applications required

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an academic setting preferred

Demonstrated understanding of working with computer technology and media equipment preferred

Description:

Responsible for the development, maintenance, performance, and monitoring of Oracle production databases.

Responsibilities

· Make technical recommendations and implement policies and standards relating to the architectural design of databases, network communications, and storage space utilization for production and development databases

· Research, plan and manage Oracle licensing

· Profit planning for Oracle database related expenses

· Manage relationship with Oracle including support and licensing

· Analyze and plan for future database, server, storage, and network requirements

· Research and plan implementation of Oracle upgrades, patches and bug fixes

· Gather database statistics for trend analysis

· Research and implement the usage of new Oracle features and enhancements

· Work with management to control redundancy and server resource usage

· Design database growth management strategies. Design database backup and recovery strategy

· Produce periodic reports for management and staff. Plan, develop, test, and tune Oracle databases

· Install third-party applications for testing and implementing in production

· Develop and maintain, SQL, Linux and UNIX programs to monitor database conditions and activities. Identify application and/or SQL performance problems and assist in their resolution. Analyze, review, and alter database parameters and structure to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements

· Consults with users to identify current database requirements and clarify objectives

· Document current, revised, and new processes and procedures. Perform prototyping and database tuning and optimizing. Stay up to date with advances in information technology by reading manuals, trade periodicals, and technical reports relating to Oracle databases

· Provide technical assistance to other Information Services personnel

· Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals

· React positively to an ongoing, changing environment

· Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals

· Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field;Oracle certification and/or five years of relevant Oracle experience preferred

Experience:

· A minimum of three years of experience in maintaining a production environment.

· Experience as an application developer a plus.

Computer Experience:

Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.

Skills & Abilities:

· Ability to troubleshoot client/server problems

· Knowledge of communication layer between network and Oracle database

· Demonstrated competency in Oracle database administration

· Ability to use Oracle database utilities and management tools

· Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, Linux and UNIX commands, and shell programming

· Ability to apply the principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

· Ability to comprehend the consequences of various problem situations and to make sound decisions or refer problems to appropriate department for decision making

· Ability to establish work flows, manages multiple projects, and meets necessary deadlines

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

· Ability to work well and react positively under high pressure situations in a changing environment
