Pesticide Applicator/Lawncare Technician


Seeking a motivated individual to provide professional lawn care applications including fertilization, weed/insect control and diagnostic advice on turf management. Other duties may include bed maintenance, weeding, installing plants and hard surface materials, as well as mowing and snow removal.
This is a full time, year-round position.

Must have a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License from the State of Michigan (MDARD) and a minimum of two years of experience. Must have a valid driver's license that can meet our company and insurance requirements.

Property Manager
Directly or indirectly supervises all staff members on the assigned property. Exempt / salaried. Position not eligible for overtime. Incentive compensation plan based on individual property performance.

Gillespie Group requires a background and drug screen as a condition of employment. A valid driving license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all of the job functions.
Education: A college degree is suggested but not required. The position does require the ability to read and write English fluently, and the ability to perform advanced business mathematical functions. For properties with condominiums, a MI Real Estate Sales License is required. Please provide written documentation to the Regional Manager if this requirement is not met.
Experience: Previous management experience in property management or related field is required, generally 2-5 years. Experience level may vary due to the special needs of the property.
Skills: The position requires the ability to maximize NOI for the owners/partners. Positive leadership with the ability to train, coach and mentor staff in order for the team to succeed in their role.

Mold Tooling Technician


This position reports directly to the Mold Tooling Team Leader and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of company as described below:

General Job Duties:

Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of company to provide for a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.
Maintain proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned tasks.
To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of company.
To perform daily cross-functional job assignments in all areas of your assigned department per the established procedures and work guidance.
Participate and support all lean, continuous improvement programs, initiatives and activities.
Meet or exceed daily tooling goals as directed by the Tooling Team Leader and the departmental objectives.
Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Tooling Team Leader.
Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company radios, business use only.
Must be able to work overtime as needed in accordance with Company Policy.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Tooling Team Leader.

Specific Job Duties:

Execute modifications, engineering changes, and repairs of molds within specified time schedules.
Maintain records of work performed as required using PMC System and work order procedure.
Assist injection molding department by troubleshooting mold operations

Must demonstrate the ability to use required hand tools for the Mold Department and have all tools and equipment required to perform work prior to beginning at company.
Must demonstrate understanding of mold specifications and ensure they are correct in the tool.
Must demonstrate the ability to read tool designs.
Fabricate equipment as required.
Must be proficient in spotting, parting line repair and hand working skills.
Must supply tool list as identified

Educational Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or GED with minimum six years direct job related experience or completion of Apprenticeship Program. Associate’s Degree in a technical field of study preferred.
Computer skills an asset.

Related Work Experience:

Must have Certificate of Qualification.
Must have minimum two years production environment experience in injection molding or related field.
CNC experience preferred.
Welding experience preferred.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
