Gas Meter Retrofitter

Tribus Services has an immediate career opportunity for a Gas Meter Retrofitter. This position is based in Lansing, Michigan on the west side at 7800 Northport Dr. just off Canal Road. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for placing/installing a meter module, such as a smart meter module or counter, onto a gas meter at residential or commercial sites to enhance metering solutions, accurately measure consumption, and ensure transmittal of signals to the network. Drives company vehicle to first residence/business on route using provided mapping tool to locate site, and verifies address using hand held device. Drive or walk route to each customer site depending on the distance. May walk up to 5 miles daily. Locate meter and determines if it is accessible/poses safety hazards. Enter reason code into hand held device if meter is not accessible, and document with appropriate photographic evidence Verify meter number. Inspect the meter for any damage/hazards. Reads consumption and other necessary information from the meter index. Accurately enters information into hand held device. Remove meter cover and module from the meter using hand tools. Utilize a hand held device for meter data collection and verification before programming new module. Install the new module using hand tools following all current S.O.P's for that meter make. We will supply the tools and material to get the job done right the first time.

Requirements:

Preferred Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to pass Meter Pro test and push, pull or carry a force of 30 lbs. Attention to detail and accuracy to record meter data Ability to read, write, and follow and complete written instructions. Always work with safety as the # 1 priority. Job Summary and Description

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Accounts Payable Staff process vendor invoices and College expense reports for payment, which includes obtaining proper approvals, auditing for support documentation and proper general ledger coding, and resolving discrepancies utilizing an automated software system. This position maintains and updates documentation of accounts payable processes, communicates with internal and external customers when necessary, reconciles vendor accounts throughout year for 1099 reporting accuracy, sends vendor direct deposit notifications and receiver notices, maintains Accounts Payable logs, and is responsible for all Accounts Payable document scanning and indexing. This position will also maintain the expense report automated software system, run needed reports, reconcile credit card feeds from the P-card bank website, process all Concur employee service requests, and add users and delegates. This position will also assist in other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Controller.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in accounting or related field required; or comparable combination of relevant education and experience.

At least 2 years of experience working in accounts payable or a closely related field required.

Advanced data entry and computer skills required.

Excellent customer service-effectively listens, communicates, and services our internal and external customers.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to independently prioritize, balance, and complete multiple tasks.

Proficient knowledge of accounting computer software, Windows, and Microsoft products.

Attention to detail.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Strong accounts payable background.

Expense Report processing experience preferred.

1099 processing and reporting experience preferred.

The Course Management System (CMS) Analyst position provides management and leadership for the college’s educational computer applications. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation and subsequent maintenance of college-wide educational computer systems and application software integrated into the CMS and used to support college academic operations. This includes defining requirements, implementing and testing systems, solving problems, preparing related documentation, and acting as a technical liaison to ITS (Information Technology Services) and other college personnel. The CMS Analyst manages relationships with eLearning technology vendors to identify existing needs and potential solutions, conduct lessons learned following implementations, and provide feedback on integrations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience or understanding of Course Management Systems/education technology systems, e.g., D2L; Kaltura; Adobe Connect; Pearson, McGraw Hill, and Cengage publisher systems; Respondus; etc.

Experience or understanding of utilizing database systems, as well as technology which may include SQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript, APIs and web development concepts to implement and support educational technology.

Preferred:
