Mid-Michigan developer George Eyde dies at 82

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The co-founder of a Mid-Michigan development company, George Eyde, has died.

Eyde died Saturday of heart failure.

The Eyde Company was founded in 1958 with Eyde's brother, Louis Eyde. The company holds a substantial and varied inventory in the Lansing capitol area, as well as Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo.

In addition, the Eyde company has offerings outside of Michigan in Ohio, Florida, and Texas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish. The parish is located at 955 Alton Road in East Lansing.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 6th at 11 a.m. with visitation scheduled at 10 a.m.
