Scott Wolchek grew up in Oakland County and loves his home state.

He graduated from Oakland University in 2014. He was the Editor-in-Chief of The Oakland Post, Oakland University's Independent Student Newspaper.
After college, he worked for WKBD/WWJ-TV as a member of the CW50 Street Team. He'd travel around Southeast Michigan and report on events like the Port Huron Chili Fest, the Mount Clemens Ice Carving Fest and Milford Memories.
After that he became a traffic reporter at Total Traffic & Weather Networks. That's a fancy way of saying he did traffic reports for Sirius XM and WWJ Newsradio 950 based out of Southfield, MI.
He also interned at WJBK in Detroit as well as Channel 95.5 on Mojo in the Morning.
His hobbies include writing, reading and he also dabbles in piano (but is pretty rusty).
Now he's happy to be living his dream as a news reporter and he wants to bring the most accurate news to Mid-Michigan.
