Clayton joined WILX News 10 in May of 2016.

Clayton is no stranger to the Mid-Michigan area. Born in Lansing at Sparrow Hospital and raised in Portland, Michigan, Clayton is thrilled to be covering the place he's always called home.

He graduated with a bachelors degree from Central Michigan University majoring in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and minoring in Media Design, Production and Technology. "Fire up Chips!"

While working towards his bachelors degree, Clayton worked freelance reporting at WNEM TV 5 News in Saginaw, Michigan before making his way to West Michigan at FOX 17 News in Grand Rapids. He covered anything from the Flint Water Crisis to the deadly Kalamazoo shooting spree in 2016.

When he's not working, Clayton loves packing up and spending a day at the beach during the summer months. He also enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

You can catch Clayton reporting weekdays and at the anchor desk for News 10 at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
