Gladstone police say a 10-year-old boy stole a car and crashed it into a house, a stop sign and a tree.

Police in the Upper Peninsula community say the boy drove the vehicle around the block and then into the home. After the crash Thursday evening, they say the boy then backed the car into a stop sign and eventually a tree.

The Daily Press of Escanaba and WLUC-TV say he was taken into custody and later released to his parents.

When you take away the rod from the discipline process, children have no fear of punishment.

Let's make sure this KID does not get his License until he is 18 yrs old, and his parents are held responsible for the $$$ liability.. There has to be some type of consequences for this kid,,he is old enough to know better. Somewhere, the LAW has to have some guts to start making KIDS pay for the damage and illegal activities they do.
