Apparently, folks aren't all that annoying in Brighton.
At least not enough to break the law.
Six months after it adopted more stringent ordinances that outlawed annoying behavior and harassment, the city has not ticketed anyone under the revised rules.
Police Chief Tom Wightman tells the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of Howell the ordinances serve as a deterrent because people know about them.
But a political consultant who runs two citizen journalist Web sites focused on politics and local government says the changes were a bad idea and illegal.
Chetly Zarko says the ordinances are too subjective and not easily understood.

This report pretends this ordinance is something new. In the City of Lansing it has long been a misdemeanor to "willfully annoy another person" 658.03(a)

Can they issue tickets to the politicians? Their ineptness is getting annoying.

Probably as silly and vague as the parking rules in Least Lansing...

As usual more stupid laws on the books. Maybe they need to pass a law "No More Stupid Laws". Hey maybe we can get rid of some stupid politicians and save the taxpayers some money

What were these new ordinances? Does anyone outside of Brighton need to know what they are so the outsider doesn't break the law?
