Note From the Management

The writer of this blog is overwhelmed!

Sorry for the lack of content around here lately, but I've just been overloaded with other stuff.  Currently, I'm trying to write and edit a piece for the Regis & Kelly show that I'm co-hosting this Thursday.  The producer needs it Wednesday, which means I have to have it done on Tuesday and in the FedEx man's snatchy-grabby hands at 6:15 p.m.  It's not even shot or tracked yet.  I'm getting some pictures shot and I'm having my family do the voice over for it.  Oh, and I need to burn the CD with the music I need to use for it too.

Oh, and I've been working on a good story about something you'll have to wait to find out about, but I did an interview for it last week, hoped to have it on-air last week, or early this week, but something kind of big happened in between.  Yeah, Kelly Ripa.

Meantime, regular work duties haven't slacked off and today I anchored all the shows for David who had a day off.  Tomorrow I'm in at 9 a.m. for a promo shoot and then at 10 I have a satellite interview with Kelly Ripa that will air on Wednesday after I've left for the Big Apple.

Honestly, once I get this piece for the show done, I'll be able to exhale again.  In case, you don't know, here's my schedule.  I leave Wednesday morning from Detroit and go to LaGuardia in NY.  There's really nothing I have to do for the show that day, although they do send over some notes to my hotel room.  I get to the show no later than 8 a.m. Thursday for hair and makeup and then to some production meetings about the show and then WHAMMY!  Showtime!  It sounds like I'm winging it a little bit, which is when I'm at my best so that's fine.

Look for a mini-package on the trip on Friday and then a longer version sometime in the future.

Let me know when it's over... I'd like to catch my breath.

Jason, Great job! Your behavior during the show was classic "Regis and Kelly". Hope they have you back--maybe a Kelly and Jason run-way competition!

Chris, what's it like to be a failure?

I can't believe these blogs are definitely being screened in favor of how great Jason did. This is ridiculous you even think he is going on to bigger and better things is a JOKE!!! All I can say is Channel 10 is not putting on negative opinions on how Jason did, I thought he was terrible. It just goes to show that channel 10 has an extreme bais toward negative opinions. The way Jason portrayed the State of Michigan was awful. I know for a fact the negative opinions will be screened out and that is so sad!!!

Jason...I never watch Regis & Kelly, but I sure did yesterday and you did not disappoint! You were so charming and I loved watching every minute of the show. You did Lansing proud!

Jason, just the best job ever!!! I could only watch the first 10 minutes live because I was late for work. I just finished watching the 20 minutes that WILX has on their website, and the "model walk" was fantastic. I would hate to ever see you leave Lansing, but if this launches you on to a bigger and better career, go for it. You're the greatest!! We love you dude, crazy hair and all.

I have never seen your show but let me tell you, i watch regis and kelly every morning and you were so awesome, you did the show like you had been doing it all of your life, a born natural~ i hope if they ever have to replace regis again you will be back, one of the most enjoyable shows they have ever had and the best substitute for regis they could have found. Best of luck in your career!

Jason....great job this morning on "Live". My husband & I waited anxiously for your debut. You were natural, seemed relaxed although I am sure you were nervous, it really did not show. Our greatest fear. That someone bigger than TV10 will steal you away. We hope not but will understand a better & more comfortable life for you & your family. What a great presentation tape your family made for you. I understand how proud you are of them. We hope you enjoy seeing the tape as much as we enjoyed watching you. You have been the best so far, I don't see me changing my mind tomorrow. Again, congratulations on a job very well done. PS you have a captivating smile, be sure to use it often it becomes you & adds to your mistique.
