stop \ˈstäp\ (verb) - to cease to move on; halt.

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, DO NOT STOP AT YIELD SIGNS WHEN IT IS CLEAR BY THE VIEW DOWN THE ROAD, NO CARS ARE COMING!!!  YIELD DOESN'T MEAN STOP!!!  HANG UP THE PHONE AND DRIVE!!!
