Friday the 13th

Chih chih chih chih... hah hah hah hah.

Friday the 13th
movies have always scared the pants off me.  I'm not the most comfortable with any of the other horror franchises, but have always been able to get through Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween and the like.  The only horror movies I couldn't finish watching were Friday the 13th - Part II and Cujo.  But I remember when I did finish Friday the 13th I couldn't sleep for 3 nights.  Maybe it was the hockey mask.  Maybe it was the fact the guy was named Jason, I'm not sure, but that movie messed me up good.

The sheriff checks out Jason's old house... and then catches a claw hammer to the head.

What's strange is I've always had good luck on the actual date of Friday the 13th.  Good luck and great days.  I remember starting in high school there were three in about a year and a half and they were all phenomenal days I still remember.  Maybe that will bode well for me today with me having a good show.  All week I've had a case of the bumbles where I just can't get the words out of my mouth for whatever reason.  And 13 has always been a lucky number for me so maybe it'll be a great day.

The only reason I thought of it was because I had another nightmare the other day-- just from seeing the preview for the new Friday the 13th movie out today.  It looks as scary as any of the old ones and guess what-- I want to go see it.

So, watch out for black cats and the like and if you hear that creepy theme song, you might as well just give up, because even if you find a car, you know it won't start.  And before you know it you'll be searching the woods looking for friends who got axed hours ago when you should be running for your life.

Anywho, enjoy the 13th.
