Enough really can't be said about Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the pilot of U.S. Airways flight 1549. I have a good friend who is a pilot for Delta and asked him about the splashdown in the Hudson. He told me this guy did an amazing job putting it down in one piece with everyone being able to walk away--let alone being alive. He said, ditching the plane almost never turns out with positive results and having every passenger survive is unheard of.
Today a viewer sent me this link. Apparently, Sully left a library book behind on the plane. He called the library to explain the situation, which didn't take long. Apparently, the book was on ethics.
What a guy!
