Eye Can't Explain... Still

Maybe I'm a medical miracle.

My eyes are getting stronger.  I have no idea what's going on and my doctor is a little unsure as well.  In September, I upgraded my prescription because my eyes had gotten slightly worse-- or so I thought.  After a few weeks with new glasses and contacts my eyes went crazy as you may know from an earlier post.  Monday I was at the doctor again after 10 days with no contacts and some eye meds.  Turns out my eyes are almost 20/20 again.  What?  Yeah, it's almost unexplainable, but Dr. Peters didn't seem that blown away.  Now I'm waiting for new glasses with the new script and contacts.  The problem I have is now I can't see perfect without anything or with my old glasses on, because they're too strong.  If you've watched the news lately, you may see me with or without specs and bumbling the odd word here and there because things are a little blurry.  It's really annoying the heck out of me, because it prevents me from thinking about what I'm talking about.  Now I am so focused on focusing that I'll say something and then wonder if what I just read came out the right way and I look like Ron Burgundy out there.  "I'm Ron Burgundy?"

I guess we'll see (hopefully) what happens when I finally get the new frames back.

Hate to tell you this, Jason, but the eye thing may be related to age. It is a well documented scenario that eyes that were near-sighted become more far-sighted as you "age" (read that as approaching 40 -- haha, I'm sure you wanted to hear THAT,) hence, you move closer to 20/20 and then maybe beyond, and then find yourself with "reading glasses" or (heaven forbid, as in my case) bifocals. Prepare yourself...
