Nothing will kill your confidence as a team like a 12-2 mercy beatdown on the diamond. We ran into a pitcher who likes the knuckleballs and we couldn't lay off. Grounders, pop-ups, and strikeouts - you name it we did it. In the field, we were pretty solid, but couldn't get it done at the plate. News 10 is now 1-1... the other News 10 team is 0-2 after a tough 10-5 loss. T-minus 7 weeks to the grudge match. BTW, if you want to come cheer us on this Sunday we play at 8:25 at the East Lansing Aquatic Center. And we can use all the help we can get.
