The current weather pattern, that will most likely last well into November, will put us on a roller coaster of temperatures. The storms that move east off the Pacific make their way into the center part of the Nation and then head toward the Great Lakes. These storms bring milder air up from the south as they approach but drag down cold air as they pass. We will see this happen again Friday and Saturday as we fall into daily highs in the forties. Next storm arrives next Thursday. We will warm up a bit Tuesday and Wednesday and then see very cold air dump in from the north on Thursday and last thru Halloween. Yet another little warm up early November only to see the coldest air of the season to head our way in about two weeks time. That cold air the computers think will spin up a winter type storm by the first weekend of November. |
