We may all feel that this year has had more rain than most years. Looking at the data is the proof. We have a normal of 31.53" of precipitation in one year. As of Thursday October first at 10:30 PM, with a line of heavy rain showers coming our way, the yearly total is 32.52". We will surpass the yearly total tonight with 3 months left to go this year. Last year it was November 21st when we went above normal. This year is a month and a half ahead of last year.
