Summer Heat
Our average highs reach their highest in mid July at 82 to 83 degrees. We stay at that level until late July when the daily highs start to slowly cool the second half of summer headed into fall. This week we will definitely feel like mid summer. Temperatures will keep increasing all week and so will the humidity.Tuesday will be mid 80's, Wednesday and Thursday upper 80's to near 90 degrees and mid to upper 80's again on Friday. The humidity will really be noticed on Wednesday thru Friday. The temps only fall back to the normal level of low 80's by the weekend. With the increased humidity will also come better chances of storms. Just a few at first on Thursday and more wide spread for Friday. Even the weekend will have an opportunity. The timing of the storms is likely to change since we are trying to time out a front that will slowly sag south from the Upper Peninsula Tuesday to over us on Friday. Any changes in that front will change the timing of the storms but not keep the warmth and muggies away.

Why is it the 7 day forcast shows different thean the detailed forcast? Let me guess it's this expensive top of the line equipment. Lets hire Granny of the Beverly Hillbillies.

You discussed the heat and airconditioning. We keep our thermostat at 79 to save money, we also put a couple of fans going in front of our ducts to keep air circulating. It is not that bad. We have 9 children and have to save money any way we can.

I just returned home after a trip to Louisiana...all I have to say is it's nice not having humidity so intense that you have to chew the air just to breathe! I'll take our "warmth and muggies" anyday!
