On Friday night while there were thunderstorm warnings for Livingston and Washtenaw Co.s. A high wind something or other hit on Parman Rd between Heeney and Fitchburg. It started on the west side of the road twisting tree tops off, it then went due east, pulled two large trees out by their roots and then back tracked somewhat. It traveled northwest and pulled out two more trees by their roots. It then traveled southeast again toward my house. No damage occurred to my house but I certainly felt the wind force. It then traveled due east again into a tree line, where it twisted tops off again. No further damage occurred in this area. This all happened within a 42 acre open field. Just an FYI. Thank you. Andy, we have met. I am one of Susan G.'s friends.

Thanks for the stats, Andy! I've been looking for info like this! If anyone's interested, www.tornadoproject.com has some interesting national and state by state statistics and www.weather.com has some amazing tornado footage.
