Will Bush Help The Lions?

The Detroit Lions have to make some big time moves prior to next season and Wednesday they signed running back Reggie Bush to a four year deal.  If he runs for the Lions like he did last season for the Miami Dolphins then he'll help.  He had 986 yards during 2012 and the Lions haven't had a back run for that many since 2004.  In fact while I watched his video highlight clip come into the office he reminded me a bit of Barry Sanders.  If only the Lions were so lucky.l..

Bush said all the right things at an introductory news conference.  He figures he'll have room to run because the Lions have talented offensive players led by Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson.  The Lions also signed defensive back Chris Houston and they still have a long way to go before they have a team that can contend for the playoffs let alone the Super Bowl.  Who's next?
