Indiana will not play in a tougher environment the remainder of this men's college basketball season. The scene in Breslin Center Tuesday night was ear shattering and intimidating for most teams-- but the nation's number one ranked Hoosiers were up to the task mainly because of the play of their terrific guard Victor Olidipo. His 19 points came at crucial times and the Hoosiers were impressive in overturning a four point deficit in the final 90 seconds. That's usually when Michigan State puts its visitors away. Not this time.
MSU better not brood. The next three games all look tough-- at Ohio State this Sunday, at Michigan the following Sunday and then home games to end the regular season against Wisconsin and Northwestern. Maybe Northwestern is the easiest of the bunch but the others will be challenging to say the least. Indiana is not home free in the Big Ten race yet. The Hoosiers have road games at Minnesota and Michigan and home games with Iowa and Ohio State. Indiana is in command but that's providing the Hoosiers don't lose more than one more game.
