It was first known as the Sports Illustrated cover jinx. You get your picture on the SI cover and you're sure to lose or have back luck. Don't know if it's as prevalent today. Love the people around here who talk about the "Dean Curse." Of course it takes people awhile to come up with examples over 43 years but whatever it makes for laughs.
Huge has some memorable picks of recent vintage on radio-- Lions to win Super Bowl, Michigan to go unbeaten in football, Michigan to beat MSU in basketball last month and now he has MSU winning Sunday in Ann Arbor. I suppose that could happen. It's amazing to me the people who rip the guy on air in various forums-- they may not like him but the same people who rip him always seem to listen to him and that's the catch.
All those who don't like what they hear and see on air-- why do they listen and watch? Never figured that one out and that's why such criticism usually only draws wry laughter if nothing else.
