What's Next For Plaxico?

Questions I have in general on a quiet June Monday?

Plaxico Burress, who starred as a receiver for the Spartans in 1998-99 is trying to repair his image.  He will be a spokesman for a gun control organization and said all the contrite things he could at a Monday news conference.  He wants back in the NFL badly at age 33.

Luke Fickell held his first news conference since being named interim football coach at Ohio State, two weeks ago.  He said all the right things Monday.  His salary has been adjusted to $775,000 for the coming year with incentives.  His incentive is to get a contract past this next season.  He has a two year deal, but of course Ohio State could change head coaches after the season this fall.

The Cleveland Indians play another game at New York Monday night and they're falling like a stone in a lake.  Nine losses in the last ten games and now just five games over .500.  The Detroit Tigers are a game out even though they are a mere 35-30 heading into Monday night's make up home game against the Tampa Bay Rays.  The Tigers are reactivating Magglio Ordonez and sending pitcher Enrique Gonzalez back to Toledo.
