Too much traffic and you can never be too careful. But I was lucky this afternoon, Friday. Washing a car to turn it in and got blindsided in a left turn lane. And it hurt and two air bags deployed. Had to wait for the ambulance and a wrecker to tow it all away. I guess I passed the concussion test but I do have some marks on my face and my cheap sunglasses are history. Car door wouldn't open and couldn't get out for a moment. Always wear my seatbelt and I think that helped greatly.
You never know if you drive enough right? And in traffic on Friday? I haven't had it happen very often over the years, certainly not like that and you're clearly stunned for a moment because you don't know if you're hurt or not, at least I didn't for awhile. The police wouldn't let me go without an ambulance check. Could have been worse of course but what a hassle and now the insurance process begins-- ugh!
