Two Best Teams Should Meet for Title

The Big Ten's two best teams should meet for the inaugural league championship football title-- Wisconsin vs. Michigan State and so the divisional set ups apparently work.  I am assuming of course that the Badgers will get by Penn State at 3:30pm Saturday when they meet in Madison where Wisconsin has outscored road teams this year by ana verage of 52-12.

I need to see both Michigan State and Wisconsin play their final games before getting a full handle on a prediction.  At this point Wisconsin is probably a touchdown favorite but it's new territory the Big Ten title game and the indoor conditions should provide for an electrifying night.  Is Michigan State destined for its first Rose Bowl since New Year's Day 1988 or will it head back to Florida for another year coming ever so close.

The eyeball test gives me Wisconsin is the best team in the league, but that doesn't mean the Badgers will beat State in the rematch.  To me it comes down simply to who plays the best and while both had their moments good and bad in the earlier game, it was in East Lansing and this game is in neutral territory-- and that could make a difference too.  Either team would be an underdog to Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

Why is it that even before the Big Ten Championship game is played the U of M is most likely getting a BCS at large bid when they aren't even the No 2 Big Ten team? Going to Fla. for either WI or MSU is an insult to their accomplishments when compared to the U of M. Agreed they had a great come back season but doesn't the record stand for anything? Guess not, look at Boise State. No respect there. They are penciled in for the Poinsettia Bowl. A losers bowl.
