As this is written the Detroit Tigers have rallied from a 3-0 first inning to deficit to lead the Chicago White Sox 6-3 late in their game Wednesday afternoon. Miguel Cabrera ignited the comeback with a first pitch three run homer. Oh if he was only fully healthy and he hardly is that. The Tigers need to get home after ten games on the road. They will finish 6-4 on the trip after going 4-0 in Cleveland if they hold on against the woeful White Sox who had no business winning the first two games in the series.
Simply put I'll say the Tigers will still win their division handily despite some issues that have arisen over the months. But in the playoffs I don't like their bullpen because it is just not reliable enough. Unless a starter like Rick Porcello heads there and helps out like he has as the team's fifth starter. If a lefthand relief pitcher is available the Tigers need to find him because they have issues, like I say, in the bullpen which could cost them a return trip to the World Series.
