Suh Has Got to Learn When to Be Aggressive

The NFL is on Ndamukong Suh's case, and the Detroit Lions' receiver is going to have to adjust if not change the way he plays football.  Suh says he only plays one way.  He is a $68 million player for the Lions, but the NFL has now fined him three times in a year for excessive force on a helpless quarterback.  Andy Dalton of the Cincinnati Bengals went down hard in the first quarter of last Friday's game at Ford Field.  Suh was flagged for unnecessary roughness.  Wednesday the NFL fined him $20,000 and Suh wasn't happy about it.

The Lions must convince Suh that me must learn when to hit and when to back off.  The NFL wants to protect its players on the field and that includes quarterbacks.  A sack is one thing, but Dalton released the ball and then Suh hit him.  Like I say, he has to learn when to back off because officials will get a complex about him and flag him just on reputation.  If, and when, that happens it won't be in the best interests of the Detroit Lions.
