Penn State, No End in Sight

Will Penn State ever end?  Another long day Monday.  More Penn State, more punishment, more anguish, more negatives and on and on it goes.  Is it overkill?  To some yes, to others no.

In our family not everyone agrees with me that it's overkill to pour it on the program now when all the original culprits are gone.  Okay others share that view too.  I think the NCAA took advantage of the situation to send a message to everyone that it's tough and you better not mess with President Mark Emmert, fair or unfair.

It's truly the Big Ten now.  Penn State and Ohio State are out of the Leaders Division race for this fall.  I guess their people hardly showed leadership, right?  Illinois, Purdue, Indiana and Wisconsin now all vie to play in the Big Ten title game in Indianapolis come December.

And just think the 2010 win by Ohio State over Penn State has been vacated by both schools.  I've already tweeted the question: Does Comm. Jim Delany bear any responsibility in all this?  After all Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State have all run afoul of the NCAA in a three year period.  Anyone else accountable while we're passing out punishment?
