It's the college coaching world we live in, plain and simple. After each season, football and basketball, coaches come and go and it's like musical chairs. Wisconsin's Bret Bielema is doing what others without the guts to do it-- just did. He knows the Badger fans will be all over him for going to Arkansas-- MSU fans never got over Nick Saban leaving for LSU. But many other big time coaches I bet would love to have the guts to move on and become a hero elsewhere.
Bielema took Wisconsin to three straight Rose Bowls. How much more can he do realistically? The Big Ten is expanding, with tougher teams he'll have to face. His stock can only go down in Madison. He gets a ton more guaranteed money at victory starved Arkansas where anything he does positive will be hailed. It took guts to do it and he did it-- good for him I say.
