Spring break is hard to plan around here-- Michigan State is usually in the Final Four and you make your travel plans around that big time event. Six times in 12 years coming in this year right, but this year the tourney run ended early.
So what to do? I'm off next week, but it's off to Augusta to see my favorite sporting event, the Masters. The family is going, Friday through Sunday and Andy Provenzano tells me the weather will be good so the scoring should be good too. It's good we'll be there Friday. What if Tiger misses the cut? I've seen him but others have not. I don't expect him to contend either.
I've been to the Masters twice with my wife. We were there for the opening round but not since 1988 and the course has been lengthened dramatically. Along the way the NCAA Final Four will be interesting to watch too. The Lugnuts and Spartans play at Cooley Law School Stadium and the Tigers' home opener is next Friday. Plenty going on to begin the new season and Jeremy will help keep you posted until I'm back.
