The reporting world for me has changed since 1970 when I started in all this. The Internet made sure of that. I thought it was just a couple of television sportscasts-- and that's still there at 6 and 11, but of course now we also do FOX 47 at 10:45pm too. And you know all about radio, but there's more-- thanks to the internet.
Our WILX website is updated constantly. Click on to sports. You won't be out of date for very long because we put all the pertinent local headlines there at any moment, plus any other sports news making headlines. And now the social media-- Twitter. Jeremy Sampson showed me what to do-- the company wants me in on that. My phone doesn't have the capability of updating from my pocket, so I use the computer, but the followers list seems to grow-- @timstaudt10 is what you need to know to join the list.
If I can find something meaningful I'll update that at a moment's notice. It doesn't seem to hard to do. If only it was easier to remember all this stuff. But I sit at this computer for hours-- editing video, writing scripts and the like. It's still fun but man has it changed over the years.
