Next Week Could Be Wild!

I've written about how wild October is in sports this fall because of the Lions and Tigers having terrific seasons.  But next week should be something considering the Michigan/Michigan State game is on the menu as well and of course the Wolverines could be 6-0 if they win at Northwestern Saturday night.

The Tigers may or may not be playing the Texas Rangers but if they are there'd be Comerica Park games on Tuesday and Wednesday and maybe Thursday as well.  The next series for either the Tigers or Yankees will be a best of 7.

Michigan State's Midnight Madness is a part of the weekend being held next Friday night and many MSU past players will be in attendance for their reunion weekend.  And with NBA camps closed who knows what prestigious players may be back because there's nothing else to do.

The high school will be preparing for their 8th games of the season and that will include the East Lansing at Grand Ledge game, the biggest on the schedule.  Oh yeah, the Lions play Monday night at home against the Chicago Bears and Ford Field might be a bit noisy don't you think?  Like I said, next week is busy even if the Tigers' season ends Thursday night.
