I didn't think Jake Boss' tone on the radio Tuesday was similar to what I heard him say to reporters on Monday. He doesn't want to think he's got a big chance to make the NCAA tournament, but I've seen some websites that say Michigan State's baseball team could still be included in teh 64-team field despite missing the NCAA tournament. The pairings will be announced at noon on Monday-- 64 teams in the field. The Spartans are 33-17 and 7th in the Big Ten. Boss says his players are working out on their own and would reassemble if they are chosen. It's doubtful that they will be included, but it also appears if they miss they won't miss by much. Stay tuned.
