Mark Dantonio was smiling broadly Monday night-- his MSU football team finally ended a five game bowl losing streak. But are the smiles still there Thursday night?
Dantonio joined his All American defensive tackle Jerel Worthy Thursday afternoon for a news conference in which Worthy surprised no one by announcing for April'sx NFL draft, giving up his senior year. That leave MSU with eight starters returning on defense.
And rumors abound that his defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi may take a similar job at Texas A&M. Media reports indicate Narduzzi and his wife were in Texas Thursday. And if Narduzzi leaves might he take one or two other MSU assistants with him?
And are other MSU players like Edwin Baker or Johnny Adams about to depart for various reasons? Stay tuned, the rumor mill is hot less than three days after the Spartans finished their second consecutive 11-victory season.
