The world didn't end on Friday at least not yet.  Jabari was a topic of discussion through much of the day in my world, but he'll fade out.  If he'd have said yes to Michigan State he'd have been a hot topic for the remainder of this basketball season.  But someone else will emerge down the road as a hot MSU prospect and life will go on and new players will arrive in East Lansing.

     A day after I am wondering about Tom Izzo's reaction when he heard Parker say Branden Dawson had his starting spot and therefore he would attend Duke instead.  Silly answer to a legitimate question but does it really matter at this point?  MSU plays a game in Breslin Saturday before a sellout crowd and it will be loud and energetic if the Spartans can play well and beat Texas heading into Christmas.
