Home From Vacation

Ten days away and it ended so quickly.  Nothing special, we always do Mackinac Island as a family several times a year, Labor Day's to come yet.  And then five days in New Hampshire on Lake Sunapee for the 4th whenever we can work it out.  Weather was good but they've had wet spring, just like us.

Traveling on Sunday of the July 4th weekend provides for plenty of airport and highway crowds.  Long day but it was fun and the three boys had not been together since Christmas.  They get older and their schedules get more complex and that becomes a logistical problem.  But you do the best you can.  They argue their teams when they get together and I can tell football season is around the corner.  Matt from Purdue is excited about new coach Darrell Hazell.  The Notre Damers are glad Everett Golson is due back in school next spring.  All think Michigan State won't be great, but I still see that schedule giving the Spartans plenty of winning opportunities.
