Good luck Michigan. The Wolverines get Notre Dame this Saturday night on NBC and they'll find out just like Michigan State did this last Saturday how good the Irish are-- at least at the moment. Notre Dame is 3-0 and has beaten Navy, Purdue and now the Spartans. Notre Dame is a mere 6 point favorite and somehow I think the Irish will cover that. And we'll see where both Michigan and Michigan State stand after they've both played the same team seven days apart.
The Irish are better on defense than they have been and while their offense has a ways to go, it's a young quarterback who is athletic that they are building around and he impressed MSU coach Mark Dantonio. Everett Gholson seemed to make all the right decisions in East Lansing. I think Notre Dame can get to 7-0 heading to Oklahoma which should be quite a match up. Who knows where this season is headed in South Bend but if Brian Kelly 's team beats Michigan this might be quite a turnaround year after a pair of 8-5 records under Kelly.
