If Michigan State loses at Indiana Sunday it's no disaster. And if the Spartans win they become the favorite to win the league title, at least equal to Michigan in my book. That would leave a mere four road games remaining and plenty of momentum.
Itd's not a typical Izzo team at 17-3. The record and ranking are familiar but the Spartans don't blow teams out to match the record. But a win is a win is a win and the Spartans were happy to leave Wisconsin despite scoring 49 points-- they were enough to win.
Indiana to me is a much better team than the Badgers even though Wisconsin won at Bloomington last week. MSU will face much better athletes than some other Big Ten teams field and the MSU depth is still an issue tome-- but on they go and they've won six in a row. And if they don't win in Bloomington there's plenty of season remaining and many if not all the remaining seasonal goals would still be on the table.
