Amazing. No one of credibility in the media gave Michigan State much of a chance against Louisville. The Cardinals had won 13 straight, they scored 103 the other night and they were the over-all number one seed in the tournament-- what more did they need? They had momentum going for them, but they laid a giant egg against the Spartans never getting into any type of flow. I don't know how to figure the Spartans from here on out, except not to doubt them in any of the games left. U Conn might beat 'em but they might now either, right? This is a team that's tough to contend with at this point, because it does not need a lot of players providing offense to succeed. Suton and Summers were great against Louisville, but maybe it will be someone else in the next game. Tom Izzo wants a second national title and he's two wins away and he'll have enormous support in Detroit. He's coaching his way into consideration for national coach of the year, but believe me, all he's interested in is winning another national title. I don't know if he's going to get it with this team, but don't sell the Spartans short either.
