Now Terrelle Pryor is thinking of visiting Oregon this week end and may postpone his announcement on high school football signing day next Wednesday. It is scheduled to be carried at noon on ESPNU. Whether Pryor announces for Michigan, Ohio State or Oregon remains to be seen but most of the big names, except for the Jenrette, Pennsylvania quarterback, have made college choices. Michigan is recruiting two other quarterbacks from Florida in case Pryor gets away.
No new verbals to announce however from Michigan or Michigan State this week. But visits are being taken this week end and reportedly Rich Rodriguez and Jim Tressel both will attend Pryor's basketball game on Saturday. In Detroit Thursday night, Miami of Florida coach Randy Shannon is speaking at the Martin Luther King High School banquet where linebacker Nick Perry will receive plenty of honors. Shannon is also reportedly bringing his entire defensive coaching staff with him and how much can that cost?
When Plaxico Burress was at Michigan state in the 1998 and '99 seasons, then MSU head coach Nick Saban was carefully before letting Burress visit with the media. Before his first Michigan game, Burress said playing the Wolverines would be like "taking candy from a baby." Nick went over the cliff about those remarks and prevented Burress from being interviewed the remainder of the season.
