For those of us who can't afford to go to the Bahamas for your vacation Michigan has many wonderful places to spend a vacation. One of my favorite places to go is the Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore, it's a great place to go to take in Michigan's wonderful scenery. You can't forget Mackinac Island, with it's wonderful historical attractions and beautiful landscape Mackinac Island is a great place for a family vacation. You could also turn your vacation in to a history lesson. With more than 1,100 historical markers across the state any where you go can be an adventure.
