WASHINGTON (AP) -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has raised $3 million online since Tuesday's victories.
Senior adviser Ann Lewis said Thursday the Clinton campaign raised the money in 24 hours and has the funds needed to keep the campaign going. Clinton reversed a string of losses by winning primaries Tuesday in Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island.
Clinton had to lend her campaign $5 million at the end of January. She has been improving her finances since then, raising $34 million for the primary in February.
Sen. Barack Obama outspent her in Texas and Ohio in advertising. The Obama campaign is expected to report raising more than $50 million for February. Both campaigns have been the top fundraisers of the entire presidential field.
